Alexandre Paty | Pain and Suffering -4- Beauty

8 Loves

The fourth year Master's student from La Cambre in Brussels Belgium fastidiously transferred his ideas of industrialism into the idea of the shoe. The result, however painful, is in my opinion beautiful.

Fordite Stones

18 Loves

"One of the unexpected by-products of car production was Fordite, also known as Detroit agate. The colorful layered objects take their name from agate stones for their visual resemblance. But instead of forming from microscopically crystallized silica over millions of years, Fordite was formed from layers of car paint over several tens of years."
